Sarah Wayne Callies
American actress Sarah Wayne Callies, born June 1, 1977 is an American actor. She is most well-known for her roles as Sara Tancredi (Fox's Prison Break) as well as Lori Grimes (AMC's The Walking Dead). She has appeared as Katie Bowman on USA Network's Colony, Robin Perry in the NBC series Council of Dads, and was in films like Whisper (2007), Black Gold (2011), or The Show (2017).
Early life and education
Callies was born in La Grange, Illinois, the daughter of Valerie Wayne and David E. Callies both English and Law professors at the University of Hawaii, Manoa.
Callies, at the age of one, relocated to Honolulu together with her family. She was interested in acting since the age of one and took part in several school productions at Punahou School. Callies graduated from high school and enrolled in Dartmouth College in 1999 to complete a Bachelor's in theater with a specialization in women's studies. She also received a senior fellowship on Indigenous theology.
