Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez is a Cuban and American TV arbitrator since Caso Cerrado. Born in Havana Cuba Ana moved to Miami when she was 2 years old accompanied with her parents. In Habana, Cuba, Ana Maria Polo is the host of the prestigious Telemundo show "Caso Cerrado", the first Spanish programming to be nominated for an Daytime Entertainment Emmy(r) Award. It was also was ranked in 2015 as the number one Spanish-language program in the 4pm hour across all key demos. Polo is an American born in Cuba that was born 11 April 1959. She went to Florida International University and graduated in the field of political science. Then, she obtained her PhD in law from the University of Miami. For twenty years, she practiced law in Miami. After earning her PhD in law from University of Miami in law and working in the law profession in Miami city for over 20 years. Polo made her debut appearance for the very first time on Telemundo Sala de Parejas in 2001. Other court shows also offered her advice on legal matters. Literature Awards She wrote Los Hijos Muertos in 1958. The novel received the Critic's Prize, and it was also awarded the Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute moved to the United States from Spain in the year 1960. Polo regularly speaks, and she helps in raising funds for the cause. Polo has been an active proponent of LGBT rights for the bulk of her career. She's been an active Florida Bar member since 1987, and has graduated in law from the University of Miami School of Law.
